NewEra Protect Ingredients Explained
Last updated: October 10, 2026
NewEra Protect calls its formula an Advanced Kidney Support blend. The seller names seven ingredients but does not publish the amount of each, so this guide explains what every ingredient is and what is known about it, rather than judging the doses.
| Ingredient | Type | Traditional or researched use |
|---|---|---|
| Boswellia serrata | Resin (frankincense) | Healthy inflammatory response |
| Sumac | Berry extract | Antioxidant polyphenols |
| Horsetail | Herb | Urine flow and urinary tract |
| Crataeva nurvala | Bark | Bladder and kidney health in Ayurveda |
| Vitamin D3 | Vitamin | Muscle function, pelvic floor |
| Zinc | Mineral | Tissue repair, immunity |
| Resveratrol | Plant compound | Antioxidant |
Boswellia (frankincense)
Boswellia resin has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Its boswellic acids are studied for joint and gut inflammation. Small trials from Iran tested frankincense-based products together with pelvic floor training in women with stress incontinence and reported improvements, but these were short studies of combined treatments.
Sumac
Sumac is the tangy red berry used as a spice in Middle Eastern cooking. It is rich in antioxidants. The research cited by the seller looks at kidney protection in animals, so human evidence for bladder control is lacking.
Horsetail
Horsetail is a traditional diuretic herb rich in silica. It increases urine flow, which some women may not want before bed. It contains an enzyme that breaks down thiamine (vitamin B1) and may lower potassium, so long-term heavy use is not advised and people with kidney disease should avoid it.
Crataeva nurvala
Crataeva bark is one of the most important urinary herbs in Ayurveda, used for the bladder and for kidney stones. Laboratory and animal studies support its traditional use, while modern human studies are limited.
Vitamin D3
Vitamin D is needed for normal muscle strength, and low levels are common in older women. Several studies link low vitamin D with pelvic floor problems, and supplementation reduced stress-incontinence symptoms in some trials of women who were deficient. Its benefit is greatest if your levels are low.
Zinc
Zinc supports tissue repair and immune function. Most women get enough from food; the main reason to supplement is a low intake.
Resveratrol
Resveratrol is the antioxidant found in grape skins and red wine. It is widely studied in the lab, but human evidence for bladder or kidney benefits is limited.
What the formula adds up to
The blend leans on traditional urinary herbs plus two nutrients with a real role in muscle health. It is a reasonable mix, but without dose information it is hard to know how strong it is. For safety notes, see NewEra Protect side effects.
